Shipping and Returns.
Online Orders.
All online orders made on the website of Lava Vide SA will be responded to within 24 hours, Monday to Friday. Once payment for internet orders reflects in their bank account, the order will be processed and delivered to you by courier. Door to door courier takes 2-4 weekdays (excluding Public Holidays). Please supply Lava Vide SA with a contact person, physical address and contact phone number where delivery can be made during weekdays (excluding Public Holidays) between 08:00 and 16:00. ALL machines will be sent by courier and not ordinary post, as the risk of damage is too high. ALL machines are tested and in 100 % working condition before being sent off to customers.
When you place an order for bags ONLY, this can be sent off to you by ordinary post at customers own risk. This option takes average 10 – 14 weekdays (excluding Public Holidays).
Courier Rates.
Our courier rates are calculated on WEIGHT and VOLUME. All orders are couriered with tracking numbers.
Stock Availability.
Lava Vide SA will always attempt to keep their stock availability on the internet as accurate as possible. In case of an online purchase where stock is not available, the product out of stock will be deducted from your order and the money will be paid back to you. The customer will be informed of this by phone or email.
Returns Policy.
Lava Vide SA takes great pride in their product for quality and excellent value. If for any reason you are dissatisfied with a purchase, we'll assist you with a prompt refund or exchange.
Returning a faulty machine sent by courier.
Returns are accepted ONLY with prior authorization by Lava Vide SA. If you have received a defective machine, you must notify Lava Vacuum Packing SA cc by email within 5 days after you have received the machine. Once authorization has been given to you by Lava Vide SA, Lava Vide SA will arrange with their couriers to collect from you wherever convenient for you. This will also be during weekdays (excluding Public Holidays) between 08:00 and 16:00. A NEW machine will be tested and couriered to you at the expense of Lava Vide SA.
Returning an order placed without viewing the product.
When an online or phone order was made without viewing the product, and the customer is not completely satisfied with the machine, Lava Vide SA must be notified of this matter within 5 days after you have received the machine. Lava Vide SA will again arrange with their couriers to collect from you wherever convenient for you. This will also be during weekdays (excluding Public Holidays) between 08:00 and 16:00. A refund, less all courier fees, will be refunded into your account within 10 weekdays. Lava Vide SA has the right to deduct a 10 % handling/restocking fee from the cost of the machine. Please supply necessary bank details to Lava Vide SA.
All products returned must be in good working condition and clean with all tags and labels attached, and in original packaging. NO refund will be given if returned goods have been damaged. Lava Vide SA guarantees customer satisfaction with their products, and therefore we will do anything within reason to make it right for you.
